Steve is a 2006 summa cum laude graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with dual minors in Economics and Finance. Steve spent the first ~15 years of his career working as a consultant and manager for public accounting and advisory firms in South Central Pennsylvania. He is a CPA licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and also holds an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

As a lot of us did, Steve spent most of 2020 working from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This left a lot of time to think about the future and consider the next phase. He finally put his money where his mouth was and thus, 13 Consulting LLC was born. Steve grew up a fan of the Miami Dolphins, mainly because of Dan Marino. He always wore the number 13 in baseball when given the opportunity, and still does today.

The number 13 is commonly considered the unluckiest number around. People fear something bad will happen on Friday the 13th.
